Service Description

This class teaches how to teach your dog the following cues in a fun and effective way: Leave it, Drop it, Wait, Stay. The class begins with an introduction of how to apply positive reinforcement and marking behaviors so we can shape them. This class teaches you the cues for your puppy to disengage with something that he desires and to control his impulses. Impulse control training is an important part of canine education and needs to be built up gradually. You will learn how to use distractions to increase your dog’s strength to disengage. As with all Buddy Puppy Foundations classes, you will have the opportunity to socialize your puppy in a safe environment and ask questions about behavior challenges during a 30-minute Q&A session after the class.
